Happy Mardi Gras.
One of the best views of the city of Rome is on the roof of the Pontifical North American College. The very best view is from the top of the dome of St. Peter's. But from the top of the college you are nearly at eye level with the top of the dome. Today is the clearest day in a long time. There is very low humidity and so the mountains to the east are clear. I went up to the rooftop terrace after pranzo today with my camera. Here is the video I took.
